Graduated from Chung-Ang University with a degree in Photography, earned a Ph.D. in Aesthetics from Paris 10 University.
Currently teaching Aesthetics and Contemporary Photography at the university, conducting research on fundamental theories of images and contemporary aesthetics. Emphasizing communication with artists, engages in critical activities, and attempts to write in a popular style. Served as a review committee member for the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (2007-2008), judged 'Today's Photo' on Naver in 2010, and organized the Seoul Photo Festival Workshop in 2012.

As for publications, there are aesthetic theory books such as "Traces of Aesthetics" (2006, Art and Culture), "Competition in Photography" (2006, Numbat), a brief summary of the history of 19th-century photography. There are also numerous papers presented.

Currently a photographer, installation artist, and professor in the Department of Photography at the College of Arts, Chung-Ang University, actively involved in photography, public art, and performance art activities, as well as organizing exhibitions and projects for young Korean photographers, primarily in Europe and Korea. Invited artist for events such as Liverpool Biennial, Moscow Bienniale, Odense Foto Triennale, Busan Biennale, and public art performances at Times Square (New York).

Graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography and obtained a master's degree from Sotheby's Institute of Art in London.


Currently, she has been active as a mediator in the domestic and international art and entertainment industry for over 16 years. Served as the Korean VIP representative at Art Basel in 2018 and held the position of director at an international gallery from 2009 to 2015. In addition, she has provided consultation and planning for various international brands, workshops, exhibitions, symposiums, and video screenings, including G-Dragon's (Big Bang) marketing project in China and P&G's (Vidal Sassoon) marketing project.


Currently serving as a director of the Ilwoo Foundation under Hanjin Group and working as an advisory board member for the Korea Craft & Design Foundation.
