Director of the Ilwoo Photography Award, Cognitive Psychologist at Yonsei University's Institute of Cognitive Science
She is interested in the interaction between artists and viewers that occurs during the creation and appreciation of photographic images. Under the motto that everything that catches the eye is the source of joy, she is active as a theorist, infusing artistic value into various photographs.
Captivated by the pure visual delight that can be experienced through light, she has been taking photographs since her childhood. By integrating psychology and photographic art, she became the first in Korea to earn a Ph.D. in the field of photographic theory.
Currently, she passionately interprets photography through psychological ideas, working as a professor, researcher, critic, exhibition planner, visual director, and more.
